Additions And Alternations To Your Itinerary

Got longer than a month to spend? Or perhaps some of the destinations above aren’t right for you? Here are some other ideas to include in your Vietnam itinerary.

Ha Giang Loop

The Ha Giang Loop is a four-day motorbike route in northern Vietnam, known for its stunning scenery featuring towering mountains, majestic rivers, and rice terraces. You should be skilled and confident in motorbike riding to undertake this journey. If that describes you, the Ha Giang Loop is an experience not to be missed.

Mui Ne

As you journey through Vietnam, Mui Ne is the final coastal stop before reaching Ho Chi Minh City. This seaside town is renowned for its remarkable sand dunes — yes, Vietnam has sand dunes — which can be best appreciated on a jeep tour. A day or two is sufficient to explore Mui Ne, but it's worth visiting if you're interested in experiencing the dunes.

Phu Quoc

Phu Quoc, being an island, is relatively more expensive than the rest of Vietnam. However, it's an excellent location for a few days of beach relaxation. While many of the beaches are tourist-centric, you can find quieter, beautiful beaches by renting a motorbike and venturing away from the town. You can reach Phu Quoc via a short flight from Ho Chi Minh City.

Tourists can enjoy activities such as boat trips on Ba Be Lake, trekking through the jungle, and visiting ethnic minority villages. A two-day trip is recommended to fully explore and appreciate the beauty of this park.

Ban Gioc Waterfall

Ban Gioc Waterfall, one of the most majestic waterfalls in Vietnam, is renowned for its multi-tiered cascades and breathtaking scenery. Tourists can take boat rides to the base of the falls, explore nearby caves, and visit ethnic minority villages for a cultural experience. A two-day trip is recommended to fully appreciate the area and its attractions.

Conclusion

The above itinerary includes popular tourist destinations, hidden gems, and unique experiences that can be conveniently covered within 23 days. It's ideal for those seeking a comprehensive experience of Vietnam.

If you're on a tight schedule and prefer a 9-day or 16-day tour, consider the corresponding itineraries. They allow you to find an itinerary that best fits your needs. However, if you can extend your stay, I strongly recommend the 23-day tour. This provides an unforgettable experience of this captivating country.
